ERA is based in Sunamganj, not Dhaka. Donations are delivered by staff and volunteers who live where they work. Every taka is receipted, audited annually and reported publicly.

Flash floods can put a haor village underwater overnight. Because ERA is based in Hason Nagar, Sunamganj, relief starts in hours, not weeks.
Where does my money actually go?
Directly into program delivery in Sunamganj district and neighbouring haor upazilas. Our audited financial statements and annual reports are public. They are the same documents our institutional donors, including Oxfam and Malteser International, review.
Can I give from outside Bangladesh?
Yes. International cards are accepted, and bank transfers can be made to our NGO Affairs Bureau-approved account. For grants and institutional partnerships, write to contact@erahaor.com.
Is my donation tax-deductible?
ERA is registered with the NGO Affairs Bureau (Reg. 2276) and the Department of Social Welfare (Sunam-289/99). We issue official receipts you can use under Bangladesh tax rules.
